• Extraction and purification of natural molecules from plants and fermentation systems using liquid or supercritical CO2 extraction and other techniques such as steam distillation, conventional solvent extraction and molecular distillation.
   
• Development of new hop products for brewing and non-brewing applications.
   
• Optimisation of liquid and/or supercritical CO2 extraction for the recovery of high-value end products from waste streams or for cleaning of high value products.
   
• Synthesis of natural molecules using biocatalysis.
