WHOLE HOP PELLETS – TYPE 100

Purpose  For addition to beer in cask in order to impart hop aroma - 'Dry Hopping'.

Composition  Whole hop cones, compressed into pellets with a diameter of 34 mm and weighing 14 grams (1/2 oz) as standard. Also available are Whole Hop Pellets of 7 grams (1/4 oz) and 28 grams (1 oz). Whole Hop Pellets retain the aroma characteristics of the hops from which they are made.

Use  Added to beer in casks in the same way and at the same rate as loose cone hops for 'Dry Hopping'. For further information on hop varieties, please see the Hop Variety Data Sheets on the Barth Haas Group Website: Datasheet

Packaging  Sealed under vacuum or inert gas in laminated pouches of food grade polyethylene/ metallised polyester in cardboard cartons. Standard cartons contain approximately 1000 '1/2 oz pellets (14.12kg). Other pack sizes are available on request.

Storage  Preferably store at a temperature of 5°C or less to maintain aroma quality and strength. Once opened, packs of Whole Hop Pellets should be used as quickly as possible.
